Unsure about the 1850R but I had the same problem with a Proliant 400 so
used the 2000 drivers that worked just fine.

I am trying to re-install 2003 on an Older 1850R and I have been unable to
find NIC drivers for it. I go to HP's page and the link to the drivers for
the 1850R is broken. Does anyone have 2K or 2003 NIC drivers for the
proliant 1850R or have a working link?
