try an oki B4350.  Fast, cheap, and TS friendly.

For small printers, we use the HP LJ2100, 2200, and 2300, both the N
and DN models.  They work flawlessly.  Our only complaint is the lack
of an LCD display to tell you where a paper jam might be..  We also
have 5si's, 8500's, 4600's, 9000's, 4000's, 4050's, 4100's, and a few
others that I can't recall at the moment..
  
At ~$1000, the 2200N's are a great deal.
