That was my response to the initial question about a small client printer. We also use HP 1200n's for Laser Jets, a little larger and more expensive, and out of date so we are using 1300's. For other printers we are getting 4200's and in our main office we have a Xerox 1630, Xerox wc35, Xerox 440 and 460. I second the support issue, HP considers them disposable. They go through ink cartridges and print heads like crazy, I believe the cost of consumables makes the cheaper price moot. I'd invest in a Laser even if I had to find an oldie. -----Original Message----- From: Shonk, Joe - Perot [mailto:JShonk@xxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 23, 2004 1:39 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Printer Recommendation We've had nothing but problems with the 6122s. Even HP won't support it under Citrix/TS. DeskJets are consumer products, not business (according the HP Rep) Joe _____ From: Bruce Jarrett-Norton [mailto:bjarrett@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 23, 2004 10:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Printer Recommendation We get the hp 6122's and have no problems with them..
