You could use Ethereal to capture some jobs. Apply some filters to see just the printer traffic you want and it'll tell you how much b/w was used. We are going to centralize the farms. Our users print a lot of pages every day (e.g. 3 users print 5000 pages a day). Before we start centralizing our farms I need to know what the Output Printer Bandwidth is. I would like to monitor printer bandwidth using Performance monitor utility but I can't see any counter which allows monitoring the bandwidth. Can someone shed some light on this for me please?
