Angela, That setting is for their Citrix session rather than their local clipboard. The clipboard mapping will stop them pasting into/cutting from apps within the Citrix session - but if they use their local workstation to take a screen shot of whats on the screen (e.g. their citrix session) they can paste into a local application. If you want to stop that, you'd have to lock down the workstation and thats outside of the control of the citrix policy. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Angela Smith Sent: 02 April 2008 10:09 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Policy issue with "Turn off clipboard mapping" Hi I have an issue with one of my Citrix policies where 1 setting in the policy is not being applied. All other settings work fine though so I know the policy is applying. The setting which is not working is "Turn off clipboard mapping". The policy has the highest priority and this setting doesn't exist in any other policy. Users can copy/paste screenshots from within Citrix to their local machine applications (which I need to deny). Im sure this policy did work at one point. We recently applied R04 so Im not sure if this caused the policy setting to break. Has anyone had such an issue?
