[THIN] PS 4.0 and Printer Mapping

Does PS 4.0 handle printer mapping differently then XP?
I have a printer that just won't cross reference. It is an
Okidata ML 590
I am trying to use an IBM Proprinter on. No matter what I do
it still uses the Oki driver even though it is entered properly
in printer mapping. Does it still use the WTSPRNT.INF like XP?
