I have used some of the Linksys and DLink ones and they are ok. There = is not a lot involved with these things. Lantronix print servers are = nice too. Those just plug onto the printer port, then you plug an = ethernet cable into it. Very small and out of the way. http://www.lantronix.com/products/ps/mps/index.html other people make similar ones, I just don't know who they are. Org (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] OT: external printservers-which one? Hi Group, we use Intel NetportExpress external printservers in our network. They = seem to work pretty good. Now our supplier says they can not get them any = more and offer us replacements like HP JetDirect, GVC and Linksys. Anyone out there uses these printservers (GVC and Linksys) to connect non-network printers to the network? HP looks overpriced and I did not have a chance = to try others.
