Hi Michael As far as I know you can also use Veritas Cluster Service with the SQL Agent. Then you do not need to buy W2K Advanced Server to use the MS Cluster Services and you can also use the cheaper SQL Standard Version instead of Enterprise Edition. Certainly you have to buy the Veritas Cluster, but we just switched to it and are happy. (up to 32 nodes per cluster and more features) Ciao, Daniel dschoppmann@xxxxxx http://www.schoppmann.com/ Meeräckerstr. 24 68163 Mannheim home: 0621/8191407 mobil:0172/6395617 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Michael Boggan Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2003 10:22 PM To: THIN (E-mail) Subject: [THIN] OT: SQL cluster i am looking at building a ms sql cluster. i have sql 2000 standard edition.
