try booting it with just 1 of the mirrored pair in the server, if that fails,
try the other one

I tried telling it to read config from disk and it looks like it works, but
then when it boots up I get a disk read error.

you should be able to tell it to "read config from disk"

there is a known issue on perc 3's (newer high end ones) and a few other
models that take multiple drives offline at random underload and there is a new
firmware for it

I had a raid card go bad in a server. I replaced it with another and now I
can't get it to see the pervious drive configs. How can I reconfigure this
card to see the old drive configuration?
