you mean your domain is something.com but your email address will be user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx? I think you can leave it be and just add or alter the user policy in exchange the same as you would if you were hosting multiple domains. Which is essentially what you are doing except everyone will be in the 'extra' domain. Citrix MFXP FR3. When I first built our network, I didn't plan on hosting our own exchange server so I didn't put alot of thought into the name of our domain. Now I need to add Exchange 2003 to the domain but the email addresses are going to be a different name than our current AD Domain name. From what I've gathered, I need to demote the DC's, change the names and dcpromo them back to DC's to get the domain name changed. I really don't want to screw things up in the process. Is there an easier way to do this either through AD or through Exchange itself? Thanks, Scott
