[THIN] Multiple Oracle Clients

Hi
I believe it would be Best Practice to have the same Oracle client on all your
Direct connect XP servers.(with a Oracle Datastore)
Can anyone advise where I can find supporting documentation on this?
Also...
Does anyone have experience with different version of Oracle clients on the XP
Servers.
What kind of problems(if any) do you have?
I am very interested in knowing the kind of problems I could expect.
Sometimes Best Practice isn't always enough to encourage Management to do the
right thing. I need to show them the other side of the picture.
