I'm looking at some satellite comms work at the moment, are you setting
TCP window sizes and the like too?

Hi Andrew,

My suspicion would be that this is unchanged. I'm not aware of any
protocol changes between PS3 and PS4.

From MPS3's admin guide -
'By default, ICA sessions connecting over TCP use maximum sized TCP
packets (up to 1460 bytes of data) for the transmission of large amounts
of data. However, there are a small number of network types, usually
wireless or satellite-based networks, where better performance can be
achieved by using smaller packets. You can change the normal maximum
size (1460) on a server by setting the following registry entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\Wds\i
cawd\MaxICAPacketLength'

This is a valid option in FR3/MPS3 but does not appear in the advanced
admin guide for MPS4

Anyone know if this is a redundant setting in this version - or has it
just been overlooked?

Tia.
