Can you open the AuthService.asmx file on the MSAM server from the Logon Agent
server? I forget the exact URL but it
should tell you in the Logon Agent config wizard.
If Windows 2003, make sure Service Pack 1 for MSAM 2.0 is installed on the MSAM
server and the Logon Agent. There were
issues with .NET on Windows 2003 and the Logon Agent communicating with the
Authentication Service. SP1 for MSAM 2.0 is
supposed to fix those problems.

All,
I am having a little trouble getting the Logon Agent to work properly.
Basically, when I run through the config screens, it tells me it can't
communicate with the next downstream service (authentication service?). I
am using a different port than the default. To verify that the port is
open, I used IE (on the same machine) to connect to the same server/url and
port. Screens come up fine. This tells me that the firewall is configured
properly Any ideas?
