Oops I shutdown Passive node first; then removed resources online then
shutdown active node.
While starting I brought one node online and I am not seeing anything in
Cluster Adnministrator - Resources section,,,
Why it happens? Do I need to add manually all the resources and group.
Normally is should be grayed out right?

Yes, pray. Just kidding. Try not to power both servers on at the exact
same time and you should be golden.

Shutdown your passive node first then take the resources offline on your
active node then shutdown the server.

Hello Folks
I have 2 Cluster nodes in Windows 2003 Server (Enterprise) and SQL
Server installed in Active -Passive MS Server Clustering.
I need to shutdown both the nodes for Datacenter Maintenance. IS there
any specific procedure that we need to follow in order to avoid the
Cluster Quorum corruption?
Do we need to shutdown one node after that the other or any other ways
are there?
Please advice.
Regards
Nagarajan
