Shutdown your passive node first then take the resources offline on your
active node then shutdown the server.

Hello Folks

I have 2 Cluster nodes in Windows 2003 Server (Enterprise) and SQL
Server installed in Active -Passive MS Server Clustering.

I need to shutdown both the nodes for Datacenter Maintenance. IS there
any specific procedure that we need to follow in order to avoid the
Cluster Quorum corruption?

Do we need to shutdown one node after that the other or any other ways
are there?

Please advice.

Regards

Nagarajan
