Is anyone aware of a free ware tool to do MAPI profile creation. I've tried
the likes of Profgen.exe, newprof.exe and modprof.exe. These all work fine
with Outlook 2000 but don't work with Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003.
The supported methods with 2002/2003 appear to be create a PRF file and
double click it which launches outlook with properly configured MAPI
profile.
The issue is we have an application that requires MAPI but not the use of
outlook (and we don't wish to). Aside form hiding outlook in the background
and killing it after 5 mins when the user starts the app does anyone have
any better ideas or and app that can configure MAPI silently.
