Dirk,

download the free command line tools archive from my website (wbisoft.com) in
the freebies section and head for the finduser command with the following syntax

finduser /user:auser /server:servera,serverb,serverc /logoff

or create a list of servers in a text file (one per line) and call it say
c:\servers.txt and then try

finduser /user:auser /server:c:\servers.txt /logoff

either of these will work. This is the free version, if you want a fully blown
optimised version you can publish in your environment via published app's for
your users to reset their own sessions (with customisable GUI etc) then check
out fuGUI (optimised for performance; will scan over 120 servers including
logoff or reset actions in under 10 seconds). fuGUI will also reset sessions
so you could get it to scan for DOWN connections and reset them via a timed
schedule.

Any probs feel free to mail me off list

Mark

Subject: [THIN] Log user off Farm

Environment: Win2003, Metaframe XPe FR3/Sp4

Anyone know of a way to log a user off an entire farm. I know I can do it
server by server but was wondering if there was an easier way.

Thanks.
