All,
I have a load balancing question that I can only find two
answers for: When a client connects to a server that is listed in the
ICA file, is the client redirected to the data collector (dc) or does
the server talk to the dc and then back to the client? All of the
Citrix documentation that I can find says that XP (XPe in this case) has
the same client/Master Browser (dc)/server communication as MF 1.8. The
book from Brian Madden (page 126 I think) says that the client connects
with the server and the server talks to the dc; the dc in turn returns
the information to the server, and the server returns the load
information to the client. I would prefer that it would work this way
since I have over 15 apps (on 38 servers) and they are spread over 9
subnets. Right now I have to have 9 zones and I would prefer to have
only 4. Help!

Thanks,
Jim
