We really don't know how many workstations there are. We provide a
accounting app to hotels using Citrix, so it depends on how many PC's at
the remote locations people are connecting with. And the clients connect
with everything from Windows 95 up through WinXP pro.

This is more asset management than licensing.
NT4 does not keep track of Terminal Server Client Access licenses, and fr=
om what I remember, the licensing service is about as much use as a choco=
late fireguard.
Do all your users use terminal services? If so, you count all you worksta=
tions and that's the number of TSCALs you need. But you already have a TS=
CAL for each workstation with NT4 or higher (IIRC - I'd double check that=
if I were you).
So you need to audit your network and see what you have out there.
You could always turn on security logging on the Terminal servers and log=
the connections that are made. You can then extract that and get a list = of
client names from which people have connected. Though this information=
would be hard to collate, and not 100% accurate.
IMHO, no easy answer on this one - you'll have to do it the hard way.

We use NT4 TSE right now and of course have had the licensing services
turned off since the beginning on our servers. We have tried to keep up
with the CAL's but really don not have a firm idea of how many are out
there. I have just been told that I need to find a way to log exactly ho= w
many are in use. Whats the best way to do that? Turn on licensing for a=
ll our servers and watch the log files build?
