Hi,

Don't forget you can also have local policies (that affect the
administrator as well), and you can also have policies applied via the
default user (for new profiles only of course). I do the latter quite a
lot as a backup in case someone screws up group policies.

Try running gpedit.msc which will get you the local machine policy.
Alternatively, the local group policies are under
\winnt\system32\grouppolicy so you can check whether ant user or machine
policies have been defined (registry.pol files).

regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Issues about policies in TS

Hi all,

I have three servers in my farm, with W2k server SP4, and all of them are
into the same OU in AD,
all have applied the same policies, but one of them when I try to open
Task manager, display options or something like that...
appears a message that 'i cannot because the system administrator has
deactivated.
I see with gpresult the policies are correct, but it seems that any
policies or something was applied...

How can I restore the first configuration or How can I found the problem?

Thanks in advance.
