Hi, No. The (domain) administrator doesn't need a roaming profile but at least it means you have a consistent environment. If there are any *.pol files in grouppolicy, then something is being applied. You can check it with gpedit.msc (start > run > gpedit.msc). regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems Ltd 18 Heussler Terrace, Milton 4064 Queensland Australia. I do the latter quite a lot as a backup in case someone screws up group policies. Try running gpedit.msc which will get you the local machine policy. Alternatively, the local group policies are under \winnt\system32\grouppolicy so you can check whether ant user or machine policies have been defined (registry.pol files). regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems Ltd 18 Heussler Terrace, Milton 4064 Queensland Australia. I see with gpresult the policies are correct, but it seems that any policies or something was applied... How can I restore the first configuration or How can I found the problem? Thanks in advance. ________________________________ This e-mail, including all attachments, may be confidential or privileged.
