Once you remove the check box under Add/Remove Windows components set IE to

Subject: [THIN] Internet Explorer Enhanced Security

Has anyone had any problems with removing the Internet Explorer Enhanced
Security option from Windows Server 2003? I have removed it and anyone
Terminal Servicing into the server still has problems surfing and
getting messages about Internet Explorer Enhanced Security.
