[THIN] Re: Event ID 1103

Ah, okay. I see the point now, and remember that event is meaningless. :(

Well then I have a bigger problem. Printing stopped working today and =
rebooting is the only way to get printing working again.

Print jobs are submitted through an Esker TUN terminal, and redirected to =
client auto-created printers. The 1103 error seemed to coincide with these =
events, nothing else does.

The wlpd32.exe process is using about 500 MB which is my current concern =
although 200MB is stil free. One new user was added this morning, but they =
are exactly the same as the other users down to the driver. The LPD =
Service won't restart but the spooler is fine. The driver in question is =
the HP LaserJet 6P.

Thanks for your patience :)

Ignore the error... That one is harmless..

Hi all,

I've been going through the archives regarding this issue, and I need to =
=3D
get hold of the Q311870 hotfix. It's part of Win2k SP3 but from the other =
=3D
discussions going on here I don't think I'll be putting that on yet ;)

FYI I'm pretty sure this is the fix for my prob:

An internal communication error occurred. Redirected printing will no =3D
longer function.=3D20
0000: ba 0b 00 00 d6 05 00 00

Win2kSP2 / Metaframe XPa FR2

If anyone's got the fix I'd appreciate it, extra kudos to the first reply =
=3D
:)
