Whenever I switch to Desktop 2 or 3 or 4, it switches me back to Desktop 1 after a couple of seconds. Could it be Symantec AV? I've rebooted the PC. I'm not liking it so far. _______________________________ Hector Minero NSWCDD K55 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joe Shonk Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2008 3:31 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Download Pick: Desktops Speaking of Virtual Desktops, I am digging Spaces on the Mac. When I launch or switch applications it automatically goes to the Space assigned for that application. No need use the hotkey (which are available) or icon to switch spaces. Firefox runs in one, Fusion in another, RDC Client in a third, etc. Joe From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jim Kenzig http://thin.ms Sent: Tuesday, September 02, 2008 9:45 AM To: THIN; windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Download Pick: Desktops The guys at Sysinternals Microsoft have released Yet another app. This one is called Desktops. Desktops allows you to organize your applications on up to four virtual desktops. Read email on one, browse the web on the second, and do work in your productivity software on the third, without the clutter of the windows you're not using. After you configure hotkeys for switching desktops, you can create and switch desktops either by clicking on the tray icon to open a desktop preview and switching window, or by using the hotkeys.
