Are you sure it wasn't a domain local group? There are circumstances under which MetaFrame will remove a group from the published app list. From page 91 of the MetaFrame Admin Guide: If a published application has users from any domain local groups and you add a server from a different domain, domain local groups are removed from the configured users list, because all servers must be able to validate any user with permission to run the application.
