Aha, so im not alone then...many thanks for the reply. I have created a custom msi using the Adobe admin tool, one with Orca and one with Wise Package Studio. What components did you strip out from the msi ? I wonder what i may have missed. The only thing i havent tried is using the latest adobe speedup to see if that strips enough out. Otherwise, have a look at FOX PDF reader. It's free, faster and works well under Citrix (we are testing this in DEV at the moment) I also use it on my laptop. (With Adobe 601/02/03 we have no issues with our Intranet and opening up PDF files.) However, Adobe 7 is now required and will not unload after a pdf file has been opened in a web browser for any user including admins. This also happens on 2000/Xp workstations as well. (for various reasons I cannot turn off the browser integration with Adobe) Has anyone else seen this with Adobe 7 ? I've tried 703 and 705 full versions.
