[THIN] Re: After installing ADF with installation manager cannot connect to server

The package in question this time is a simple registry change and
superdat update for McAfee Netshield. The registry entry is only for
McAfee and just contains auto update settings. I double checked
everything in the WFS and nothing looks supicous. However, I'm having
this issue with several packages.

I should mention that there are no useful messages in either the
application or system log.

Sounds like you have something in your ADF that shouldn't be there.
Look for Citrix explicit files such as C:\Program Files\Citrix...Could
be reg setting as well.

Subject: [THIN] After installing ADF with installation manager cannot
connect to server

I'm experiencing a particularly strange problem with installation
manager on XPe FR3/Win2k.

When I deploy a package to a server and do not force a reboot I am
unable to connect to the server at all. According to a query farm /load
the machine has a full load. However, in the CMC it shows no load at
all. Eventually the query farm command returns no load and when I
connect (through a web interface+CSG) I get the infamous "no route to
the specified subnet address" command. If I do a query farm after that
the load is now full (10000) but the CMC still displays no load. This
issues occurs on all of the servers in my farm if I do not reboot after
every package install. I should also mention that I do not get the "no
route..." message every time, only when the query farm command returns
no load. After I connect and it jumps back up the web interface just
says that the server has returned an unspecified error.

Anyone seen anything like this before? I can't find anything useful in
the citrix knowledge base and I've double checked all of my licensing.

Thanks,
Aaron
