Hi Jim=20

We ran into the same issue and decided to block FTP access by using a =
Security Policy (block Port 21 outwards).
Would be interesting to hear of other solutions ...

Greets

Betreff: [THIN] Restricting Add/modify FTP from office XP

I'm having a hard time finding a way to get rid of the 'add/modify FTP =
locations' option from within the open / save dialogs within Office XP.=20
The office XP ADM templates have nothing for blocking access to this, =
there are apparently no associated command ID's, and the little bit of =
info I've found on the web about blocking access to this seems to =
indicate that the only option is to 'disable' FTP entirly from the =
system by forcing it to use a non-existant proxy from within IE.=20

Anyone tackled this one before and gotten it out of the drop-down list =
for saving entirely?

Thanks,

J
