Hmmm, did you check in Sounds to make sure you have a ringtone selected? Also,
if you have the ringer volume set to be adjusted separately from the normal
volume, you will see that there as well.
If you are in sounds and double-tap the ringtone you want, do you hear it play?
Next, I assume you have the vibrate switch in the up Vibrate-off position?
Try moving the switch up and down several times, in case there is a dirty
contact that is affecting the ringer; make sure you end up in the up position.
