[texbirds] Pine Warbler and other sightings at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands

 Hello all!

Chilly day today, and although the grounds seem quiet, there was still some 
activity throughout the gardens. The Plain Chachalacas certainly don't seem to 
mind the cold at all as they happily feed on the Potato Tree fruits (I can 
still see them out the window)! :) We have been spotting a Pine Warbler since 
last week at our dragonfly pond, and some visitors reported seeing it yesterday 
as well. 

As for today's walk, we did get to see the Wilson's Warbler, Orange-Crowned 
Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, and many Northern Cardinals along the grounds. 
North Pond seems pretty inactive, having only American Coots and a few Northern 
Shovelers foraging along the water as well as some Great Blue Herons and 
Black-Crowned Night Herons hanging out by the waters edge. South Pond was 
slightly more active, with Green-Winged Teals, Blue-Winged Teals, Neotropic 
Cormorants, Least Grebes, and Ruddy Ducks-most foraging along the water.
