We have an electrical transmission tower line going through our property and 
find fatalities underneath, especially during migration.  Most interesting is 
we sometimes find a species that we don't see on the ground until a week later. 
 Lincoln Sparrows seem most susceptible .  The raptors find the towers a 
perfect perch and the Loggerhead Shrike likes the lower perches, along with the 
Great Horned Owl in the evening.

We are enjoying wintering American Pipets this winter in both fields.
