[texbirds] Monday pictures: lesser nighthawk, broad-winged hawk, terns etc. and gold goldfinches

I did a loop around the east bay Monday and got some pictures in the cloudy
day. The best bird was the lesser nighthawk at High Island

It was very exciting and periodically changed ends on the branch

A broad-winged hawk on Bolivar perched for a change

The gull-billed terns at yacht basin road were courting

Lots of common terns were on the beaches in the newly arrived sargassum weed

The eastern willets are all paired and settled but still need to finish

This bird lost old feathers while shaking its wings

A great blue heron at rollover pass has lost one leg at the knee but the
other looks fine.

The goldfinches at home make it hard to leave my recliner as they spend all
day fussing with each other as they eat
