I will wait to see it on NARBA

Subject: [texbirds] Loggerhead Kingbird in Port O'Connor

large head and massive bill which distinguished it from the numerous
Eastern Kingbirds around.  Just back for a moment to make some calls and
get my phone.  My tripod and scope that is required for the bird which is a
good 40 ft. away.
The bird is very tame and already an assemblage of clattering tripods,
funny vests and strange hats of the local birders is evident.  The bird is
quite fond of small fruits thrown it's way so please if you drive from afar
bring a good supply of things like blueberries, strawberries, Blackberries
and especially cherries.  I will keep them all fresh in my fridge as the
only store in town "Speedy Stop" has completely sold out.  Fruit Loops and
Kix are no substitutes and don't throw well anyway in this wind.

Don't worry about the directions as the town is tiny.  All you need to do
is look for hundreds of cars parked near the intersection of 5th and
Jefferson....Don't forget the berries.

Lots of other migrants in town this morning , but am too excited to post
n those now...More on those later
