Hit numerous spots this AM before being shut down with constant light
rain. Best= a male Red-naped Sapsucker at Benbrook Ranch Park...The bird
was in a big American Elm to the south of the baseball fields or just east
of the walking bridge at the soccer fields on the gravel trail < 80
yds.....(note the trails on the disc golf course are a sticky black mud
mess due to the rain).
Elsewhere in Liberty Hill and area, I had a flock of White-crowneds with
with TWO juncos which seem early to me for this area.
At least 6 Scissortails were still seen this AM
4 Ringed-necked Ducks on a stock pond off 183 north of Stockdale Rd..
