Despite a cold start (44 degrees) my first time visit to Palmetto State Park went very well. Small list but some excellent birds. Highlights : Pileated and Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Western Kingbird, Yellow-throated and Prothonotary Warblers, and a loud singing American Robin.
