There was an Empidonax flycatcher in my yard about 30 minutes ago. I have an idea of what I think it is but I am not the best at Empidonax ID so I thought I would let the experts on Texbirds decide. It was rather small, had a bold white eye ring, short (to me) primary projection, faint yellow wash to the belly, and bold white wing bars. The pictures are not great quality as the lighting was poor but hopefully they are identifiable. Only edit I performed was crop. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kksampeck/9375367765/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/kksampeck/9378147462/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/kksampeck/9375364945/ -- Kelley Sampeck Hardin County, Tx http://www.flickr.com/photos/kksampeck/ Edit your Freelists account settings for TEXBIRDS at //www.freelists.org/list/texbirds Reposting of traffic from TEXBIRDS is prohibited without seeking permission from the List Owner
