Birded Crockett County, yesterday, May 10.Turned off I-10 onto River Road, the first dirt road after passing over the Pecos River, if you are heading east. A neat road, with no traffic and lots of birds. The sign on the interstate marks the road as River Road. I also believe its CR 102. Orchard Oriole Bells Vireo Ash-throated Flycatcher Cave Swallow Barred Owl ( flushed from a large hole in cliff on the eastern side of the road, seems a bit west of normal range) Painted Bunting Northern Bobwhite 3 (no fire ants here?) Turkey Vulture Gray Vireo 1 Black-capped Vireo 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2 Phainopepla (seems a bit east) Pyrrhuloxia Blue Grosbeak Golden-fronted Woodpecker Black-chinned Hummingbird Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Charles Easley cwebirds@xxxxxxx Cleburne, Texas --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
