[texbirds] Crazy Day in Nueces County

Today I birded Pollywog Ponds, Hazel Bazemore Park, Rose Hill Cemetery, Blucher
Park, and the beach between Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. Here are the
highlights:
Masked Booby- juv. on marker 81 on the beach. Pics here:

Plumbeous Vireo- Rose Hill
Black Phoebe- H. Bazemore
American Woodcock (2-3)- Pollywog
Least Flycatcher- Rose Hill
Townsend's Warbler- Blucher
Ovenbird- Blucher
Thayer's/Iceland Gull- 1st year bird, only saw flying...couldn't rule out
Iceland Gull but more than likely was Thayer's. On the beach flying north
around marker 80.
Lesser Black-Backed Gull- adult at marker 51 on the beach
Northern Gannet (10-15)- Port Aransas jetties
Red Knot (20-25)- Beach around markers 50-80.
