I want to thank Dan Jones for posting about the American Golden-Plover. I had been putting off going to the Progresso Sod Farms and with the weather people talking about possible rain in the next few days. I thought better go see what I could find before the roads get Muddy. I went after my trip to the Donna Res where I watched the Swallows while they sat or flew. They have so much energy and their in flight beauty always makes me smile. Back to the main reason for this email I did find the American Golden-Plover and got photos even as it was close to the road and with over 30 Killdeers. So when looking be sure to watch for the Killdeers. Here is a list of what I saw.
