Yesterday morning, Jan 1st, I walked the Addick's Reservoir trail that starts on Eldridge. I did not find anything unusual (and disappointed couldn't get LeConte's) but the most unusual were absolutely no white throated or chipping sparrows, which were formerly abundant. Too dry? I did get swamp, Lincoln's, Vesper, song, and Savannah. Also, no shrikes, which is the first time they didn't show up here.
