Bluebirds have seemed sparse this winter. This evening I did have all 3
species of bluebird at the Gage Gardens. This location has this charm at
times where the south grassland begins and the more manicured area ends.
 Anyways, FOY for that trifecta.
More interesting, there was a possible Northern Flicker intergrade
(Red-shafted x Yellow-shafted) that flew by. I may go down there tomorrow
to give it a better look. I was running out of time so I had to hike back
up the hill.

For what it's worth, this location is holding on to the winter occurring
Swamp and White-throated Sparrows. These two species (particularly WTSP)
really aren't a slam-dunk, winter after winter, out here.
