I haven't heard of the convergence panel causing no video.

I see Zenith sells the 9-1674-03 (NLA)  as a 1674-3R for $105.00 plus 
50.00 dud.
I already installed the diode, resistor and LA7838 vert IC. will 
reinstall board today and give it the cook test. If all else fails, will 
order one whole. You are right. not worth the aggrevation. I am told the 
converg. panel may be doing this... I have one in stock, but hope it 
isn't the cause/lotta realignments if so.
