I had the same problem recently, replaced that diode and resistor, worked for about two minutes..then I gave up and replaced the board. You can replace these with a 6 month warranty for under $100. It goes like this: Flyback pin 4, toR3252, to CR3215, the +26V. Is this to the vertical Vcc? if so, probable bad vert IC as well. Looked up and saw the picture narrow from t=3D op=3D3D =A0 =A0 =A0 =3D20 and bottom with a top and bottom bow. Like an "eye" shape. Powered it=3D off, then after a few minutes, when I turned it on again the HV came=3D up, CRT filaments glowed, sound there but no picture. All 3 CRT black=3D =3D2E =3D3D =A0 =A0 =A0 =3D20 I =A0=A0=A0=3D20 assume it went into safety mode and blanked the CRTs. I changed the convergence module 9-1690 (simply because I had one and the narrow distorted display could be this module maybe) but the same thing afte=3D r= installation Maybe vertical...
