Hi Tomlee:
Substituing a transistor with same characteristic is ok,but you don't sub
because you need something stronger.Sony use C4927 for many chassis,i never
had any trouble.you best to do is find the cause,check your driver and
h.v.because i believe you don't put a 5amp fuse instead of a 1 amp because
it keep on blowing.
