Gerry, in one of the tips they refer to CX3418 and call it a 470pf
in the other one they cal lit C3418 and call it the filter for the 18v rail

I don't believe the tips are written by Zenith tech writers. I think they
are submitted by TV techs in the field.
I know a lot of TV techs whose spelling accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.
So I tend to think they are one and the same.

Tip also says they are not being biased properly through the diodes and
claims that C3418 filter was leaky.
I would suspect leaky diodes, myself.

If you would like a schematic, I can scan the relevant parts and send them
if I have it.
