Got your schematic, thanks been busy day away from any comptuers. Looks like
might be the PIP module.on IC6000 micro pin 52-R, 51-G, 50-B, 49-FB all no
signal no voltage (swaped out IC6000 with one in stock same condition). No
picture from tuner or video input main screen have it in the Pip window from
the tuner and have OSD. composite video is seen at pins 41 & 37 of IC2200,
the OSD 1 pins for rgb 15, 16, 17 get signal from the pip (it looks like a
square wave with video interlaced, the RGB main out's pins 19, 20, 21 when
pip is off have a square wave, with pip on shows video sitting on top of the
step of the square wave, as far as I can determine the voltages for pin 51
thru 49 of IC6000 (221-1386-01) must be derived from the pip, havent found
anytging obvious with the modle, tried swapping out the 4053 on the board no
change, IC 2501 is an odd one can't seem to find it listed, seems like all
the scheamtics seem to list the PIP like a black box....

  Hi Peter,
I saw it.. and would not open at TechAssist.. works fine
here.=
. Good idea get model numbers for the chassis numbers. What Zenith does li=
ke the A11 is the low end set and they ad pip surround 2nd tuner etc but al=
l the CA chassis.. I'm home now and have the pdf so if you would like it i =
can send direct to you..couple mins with DSL..

archives I fould a CA chassis schematic that was labled 25A11 that lists=20
that among applicable models, This is the zenith version but I would assume=

Zenith
B27A30ZC
9-2071-2
MFD April 1999

Set has no pictrue, sound ok. Has picture in pip=20

Connections on PIP board look ok. May have had surge..? Would IC1200 be
possibility? (did not try a AV input yet).
