No, I'm refering to the B+ regulator.
It's true that the vertical chip causes much
trouble in the newer sets, but on the ones I've had
the set would at least "hit" and shutdown.
Ed says this one just "sits there". So I'm thinking
either power supply(regulator) or standby voltage
missing, but no data on that one.
