Subject: [TechAssist] Zenith 27" dead shutdown SJ7775BG flat split chassis
9-1054 main 9-1092 sweep

Zenith 27"
SJ7775BG
Main 9-1054
Sweep 9-1092
PIP 9-1084
MFD Dec 1992

Set is in dead - shutdown condition. After about
30 sec after plug in set will flux the HV spontainously but otherwise
nothing. Rang the FBT (95-4134-01) seemed to be ok (60 rings) checked and
changed the start up cap, Found 3 leaking 100uf 16v bright blue caps on the
main chassis (2 on the right side as seen from the rear near an IC and 1 on
the left next ro the input of the tuner). CRT and yoke test ok- tested with
another chassis (CRT is a zenith replacment from '95, a A68ACT07x) but still
dead.
