Ken,

 Did you try my suggestion?

 Turn TV On ....While Factory Test Is Flashing On The Screen, Press Erase On
The Remote. TV Will Turn Off By Itself. Leave Off For A Few Minutes & Turn
Back On.

 I've had to do this before...I know it works!
