the convergence IC's you changed where they original's or generics. I have
had a bad run of STK4274's. If they are ok, I would be looking for leaking
caps throughout the chassis (convergence board and deflection board.

TV MITS VS583R Ch# V8 red will not converge at the bottom
The red will not converge to the blue and green at the bottom of the
screen--the red only, looks squeezed up.
I replaced all 3 stk's on the board as a matter of age, and replaced a cap
and resistor as per mits tech tips. The voltages on the stk's appear to be
right on, but can't be 100% sure without schematic. If someone don't have
a definitive fix, a pdf, or fax, or whatever of the convergence circuit
would be extremly useful. With that, something showing what the convergence
pots do would be great. This model seems to have a very limited amount of
adjustments on the convergence CBA, compared to most sets this old, and I'm
having a hard time getting the blue on the green also. The blue probably
has some issues also, just not as pronounced. TIA
